June 07--MARION -- Autumn A. Wittkamper, whose husband, David, died in an airplane crash at Marion Municipal Airport, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the pilot of the business jet.

David Wittkamper, 31, was a passenger in the Cessna 150 piloted by Kyle Hibst that was taking off when it collided with the larger Cessna 525 business jet registered to Avis Industrial Corp.Sponsored: Gambar Koala

The lawsuit, which was filed in Grant County Circuit Court on Wednesday, alleges that the business jet pilot, Richard A. Darlington, was negligent because he allegedly failed to follow proper radio and aircraft traffic control procedures in effect at the airport.
