Jakarta Administration Promises Free Cervical Cancer Test

Living a healthy life has become more convenient with the many health apps downloadable from Google Play and App Store.

Recently, an app called ProSehat (sehat means healthy in Indonesian) launched the campaign #VaccinEASY to raise public awareness of cervical cancer.

According to a statement released by the app, Indonesia is listed as one of the top two countries with the most cervical cancer cases. At least one in two patients suffering from the cancer dies.

The #VaccinEASY campaign aims to spread comprehensive and accurate information about cervical cancer to Indonesian families. The information also includes insights about what causes the cancer and how to avoid contracting the illness.

Two possible preventions include living a healthy lifestyle and getting the HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) vaccination.
