AGAWAM -- "Sparkle!," a wellness event for women that includes dinner, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Chez Josef, 176 Shoemaker Lane.
The educational and preventive health care program looks to encourage women to be involved in their health care decisions and to connect them with resources within Trinity's network.
The event includes "Dessert with Docs" during which physicians will be available to answer individual questions.
Other representatives from Mercy's affiliates and partners will be present as well as vendors.
Raffles, tote bags with gifts, a limited number of chair massage sessions and "sparkle" cupcakes are also part of the evening.
The event is open to anyone 18 and older without an adult and 13 to 18 with an adult present.
Cost is $15. Anyone interested in attending must register and prepay by calling 877-783-7262.
Registration and payment are requested by Nov. 12.
