Longmont police arrested a 36-year-old woman for drug possession on Monday after her parole officer found methamphetamine in the woman’s purse. She said the drugs were not hers and she had borrowed the purse. The woman added that she doesn’t take methamphetamine because her drug of choice is cocaine. She was taken to Boulder County Jail.
On Thursday, Longmont police arrested a 49-year-old man who trashed his roommate’s room on Wednesday and yelled racial slurs at another roommate, who was forced to flee the residence. He is charged with second-degree burglary, ethnic intimidation, menacing and criminal mischief. He was taken to the Boulder County Jail.
Longmont police recovered a vehicle in a parking lot on the 1500 block of Main Street on Thursday. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Firestone. Police processed the vehicle for evidence and the case is closed.
